Bisse du Ro in Crans-Montana

Recommended by Sofia Meakin

When Sofia isn’t in a rowboat striving to set new personal bests, she enjoys being on solid ground. Her favorite hike is the “Bisse du Ro” in Crans-Montana. In addition to its narrow wooden walkways along steep rock faces and the suspension bridge, the hike offers numerous other highlights. For Sofia, this place is special in more ways than one: she used to go there often with her parents when she was a child. A few years ago, her brother proposed to his now-wife there.
